My Approach
I bring together linguistics, editorial rigor, UX strategy, and systems thinking to define terminology and design experiences that reduce cognitive load and increase clarity. I’m especially drawn to ambiguous, high‑stakes problem spaces where language, trust, and technology intersect.
My work is grounded in:
Human‑centered design — technology to help people, not for its own sake
Conscious communication — clarity, transparency, and respect for users
Shared meaning — aligning teams, systems, and users around a common understanding
Plain language — because complexity shouldn’t be a barrier to access
Adaptability — moving fluidly between strategy, structure, and detailed language design
Why AI
Not on board with “move fast, break stuff” and “more, faster.” I want to use my seat at the table to encourage throughtful, conscious decision making when building paradigm shifting technologies. My goal is to help shape AI systems that are transparent, accessible, and aligned with human well‑being.
I’m particularly motivated by work that:
improves public‑interest technology
supports equitable access to information
strengthens trust and understanding
helps people navigate complex digital systems with confidence
I’m not interested in building technology for technology’s sake. I’m here to help build technology that serves humanity.
